About Brady Law
Attorney James S. Brady II
For a little background about Jim Brady, the native of Kalamazoo graduated from Portage Northern High School, then received a bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College, a master’s degree from Western Michigan University, and a Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law. James S. Brady II is licensed in all courts in the State of Michigan.
Attorney Brady is a leader and has always been a “self-starter,” both in the community and legal profession. A former aide to U.S. Senator Robert P. Griffin, Mr. Brady has served on the Michigan State Boundary Commission, per Judge’s appointment; upon the Board of Directors of a national non-profit corporation; and has addressed and spoken to literally hundreds of civic groups in Michigan and other states. Active in the Bar Association, he is a past co-chairman, Family Law Committee of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association. He is happily married and has one child.
Jim Brady started his law practice more than 30 years ago, literally just out of law school, with only one file. Throughout the years he has represented thousands, including many long-standing and repeat clients. He now finds himself representing the adult children of former clients. He often receives client referrals from people he has opposed in court. Today, Attorney Brady’s clients benefit from and appreciate the skill, fortitude, honesty, and experience he contributes to each client. You will find him to be a dedicated person. Jim enjoys baseball, history, and fishing.
